More cuts to RIM

There are reports that more layoffs could be on the way for Research in Motion.

The Globe and Mail cites several people close to the company, saying RIM is preparing for a major global restructuring in the next couple weeks that will see at least 2,000 job cuts worldwide.

The next round of layoffs is said to be planned for early June, but some expect it even sooner than that.

RIM has about 16,500 employees worldwide.
