Lang Tannery complex sold to Toronto Investment Trust

The Lang Tannery complex has been purchased by Toronto-based Allied Properties Real Estate Investment Trust.

The purchase price is 61.75-million dollars and the company’s President and CEO Michael Emory says “the complex will be a strong complement to our properties on Victoria and Breithaupt Streets.”

Built a century ago, the Tannery complex currently houses Google, Desire2Learn and Communitech, along with 345 parking spaces and over 340-thousand square feet.

The acquisition is expected to close on August 1st.
