Panel Discussion on Canadian Reproductive Rights

Some local Liberals want to discuss reproductive rights in Canada.

The Kitchener-Centre federal Liberal Riding Association is hosting a panel on the issue tonight.

The all-female panel is going to be made up of doctors, lawyers and professors and Kitchener-Centre Liberal candidate Karen Redman says there needs to be a discussion about a woman’s right to choose. Redman tells 570 News the abortion debate isn’t nessessarly black and white.

The event comes on the eve before a motion by Conservative Kitchener-Centre MP Stephen Woodworth will be brought forward in the House of Commons. He wants a special committee formed to study when a human life begins.

The panel discussion is at 7 o’clock at Kitchener City Hall.
