OHL East Final preview

The Kitchener Rangers and London Knights will be keeping a close eye on the OHL’s Eastern Conference Final.
It starts tonight with the Ottawa 67’s at the Niagara Ice Dogs and Sportsnet Ontario has the broadcast at 7pm.
The Ice Dogs finished 1st in the East, while Ottawa was 2nd, just nine points back.
The 67’s have former Kitchener Rangers forward Shane Prince on their roster.
Prince, an Ottawa Senators draft pick, has 13 points in 13 playoff games.
“(Prince) He was not very good in the 2nd round against the Barrie Colts…He was a non-factor and unfortunately for the 67’s, they’re not good enough for him to be a non-factor.” said Lee Versage, part of the 67’s broadcast team on Rogers T-V in Ottawa.
Versage says one of the keys for Ottawa will be to get their speed going against the Niagara defence.
The 67’s also have Tyler Toffoli, Sean Monahan (a top prospect for the 2013 NHL draft) and Cody Ceci on their roster.
Alex Friesen and Ryan Strome currently lead Niagara in scoring, both have 17 points.
The Ice Dogs also have World Junior goalie Mark Visentin between the pipes.
