Lotto prize never turned over

A lottery retail employee in Kitchener is facing charges following an investigation by the OPP and Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation.

Police allege in December 2011 a retailer did not pay a customer the $500 prize from a Poker Lotto ticket.

The employee later collected the winnings at another lottery retail location.

31-year-old Chantal Lyons of Kitchener is facing theft and fraud charges.

She’s due in court May 9th.
