Down with bullying

The Guelph Police Service launched their Anti-Bullying Strategy today.
Sgt. Douglas Pflug told 570 News the event was in part to announce a special guest speaker, “We’re going to have Travis Brown, better known as Mr. Mojo. He’s going to be coming up and speaking to all of our high school students in the first week of May. He has been seen on CNN, ABC, CBC, FOX, NBC, and USA Today. He’s a really interesting, dynamic, anti-bullying coach.”
Pflug said Brown will talk about his anti-bullying strategy, “where he wants to speak to the bullies in the audience, the victims in the audience, but more importantly the by-standers, so that he’ll get them to, instead of just watching, mobilize themselves.”
Also on hand, creator of “Speak Out The Documentary”, Alex Vander Vlugt, to promote @sowhatspeakout’s Pink Shirt Day, happening tomorrow, April 11th.
“Anyone and everyone is encouraged to wear a pink shirt tomorrow, as a sign of solidarity for anti-bullying,” said Pflug.
