An Annual Tech Leadership Event Gets “Awesome”

Big names and big news, all a part of this years’ Communitech Tech Leadership Conference held today in Kitchener at Bingemans.
Among the keynote speakers are Arianna Huffington, of the Huffington Post and Neil Pasricha, best-selling author of The Book of Awesome.
Pasricha tells 570 News there are 4 A’s to being awesome and having an awesome life: Attitude, Awareness, Alignment and Authenticity. He says keeping an open mind about the world we live in and “embracing you’re inner 3-year old” and seeing everything like you’re seeing it for the first time will lead to new discoveries, not only about yourself, but in things around you.
Senior Director at Communitech, Tony Neiderer, tells 570 News the sold out event attracted more than 500 people from companies of all shapes and sizes in and around Waterloo Region. He says it’s hoped the conference will ignite growth and success in the region’s tech companies through a wide range of leadership and networking workshops.
Communitech CEO, Iain Klugman says rapid innovation within tech companies is not just constant, its mandatory to succeed.
Editor-in-Chief of the Huffington Post, Arianna Huffington was the keynote speaker this afternoon sharing her experiences in new media, and talking about how social media has changed the way people communicate.
