A blown tire is getting the blame for the cause of a transport truck roll-over on Highway 85.
The grain truck had been traveling Southbound.
The driver, Lowel, describes what he went through, “it happened really fast. I felt a bit of vibration before it happened, but then all of the sudden there was a big bang and it just started going.”
The truck went through the centre ditch, across the Northbound lanes, the off ramp lane, and finally into the ditch. It spilled the soy-meal it had been carrying to a St. Agatha area hog farm.
OPP Constable Andrew Monro says “thank goodness there wasn’t anyone coming when the truck crossed the highway.”
