Arrest made in weekend assault

Regional Police say they’ve made an arrest in connection with a weekend assault in Waterloo.

Police say a male was attacked by a group of males armed with beer bottles Saturday night in the parking lot of the Comfort Inn on Weber Street.

The victim was treated for non life threatening injuries.

Police say a 23-year-old Etobicoke man faces several charges including aggravated assault.
