Local St. Patrick’s Day celebrations start early

St. Patrick’s Day comes early in Kitchener.
The city and the Downtown BIA have hooked up for celebrations today in front of City Hall.
The event includes authentic Irish entertainment including dancers and fiddlers.
There will be activities for the kids as well as a barbecue.
It runs from 11:30 this morning until 2 this afternoon.
