Fatal crash on Hwy. 7/8

A Kitchener man is dead after a two vehicle crash on Highway 7/8.
He was driving a yellow Dodge Dakota westbound on the highway, when police say he crossed the centre line into on-coming traffic and crashed head-on with a white cube van.
The van rolled onto its roof, but the two people inside weren’t hurt.
An air-ambulance was called to the scene.
The 7/8 was closed both ways from Foundry Street to Nafziger Road but has since reopened.
