11:00 Bogus Marriages…spouses will now have to wait 5 years from the day they are granted permanent residence before they can sponsor a new spouse. This is to stop people from marrying Canadians for the purpose of immigration, only to leave them and sponsor a new partner. Meanwhile, their Canadian spouse is still financially responsible for them. Question: Is this the right call? Should it be longer? 11:30 Alternate Scenarios!
