Kitchener calls off snow event

The City of Kitchener had declared a snow event, taking effect at 11:59 Saturday night.
That snow event has since been called off. Road-side parking is again allowed where permissible.
The overnight parking bylaw remains in effect in Kitchener from 2:30 a.m. until 6:00 a.m.
During a snow event, residents are asked not to park on the road, or face being towed at their own expense and a fined $80.
