Regional Police are investigating a pair of unrelated incidents in the same Kitchener neighbourhood.
The first happened on Madison Avenue near Charles Street around 11:45 last night.
A teenaged boy was approached by a group of about 20 guys, and taken to hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Spokesperson Olaf Heinzel tells 570 News, in the second incident a few minutes later near the Kitchener Farmers Market, a Kitchener teen was approached by a group and assaulted, “the youths had their faces covered during the assault and then fled. In this particular case, three Kitchener youths have been arrested and have been charged criminally in this incident.”
Heinzel says police continue to ask people with information to come forward, “we would invite the public to contact us at Central Division. Call (519) 650-8500 extension 4499”
