Almost $800,000 in pot seized

Waterloo Regional Police are reporting a significant drug seizure in Waterloo.

Police say they executed a search warrant at a Phillip Street residence yesterday and uncovered a marijuana growing operation.

Police say they seized close to 800 pot plants with an estimated street value of $794,000.

Police are hauled away offence related property.

So far, no arrests have been made.
