Lavendar Sticks at the Aud

The Kitchener Rangers are teaming up with Hope Spring Cancer Centre, using Lavender sticks last night, that will be auctioned off to raise money.

Executive Director of the organization Katherine Young spoke during the 570News Rangers broadcast last night and explained how they help.

“We’re a support centre for individuals who’ve had a diagnosis of cancer or their family or care givers. We provide basic things like if someone is starting Chemo therapy, they can come in and get a free wig. All of our services are free to anyone that comes to our door.”

One set of sticks was sold during a silent auction at last night’s game. Another set is available through online auction. You have until Thursday to cast your bid.
