Third arrest made in 2010 Kitchener robbery

A third man has been arrested in connection with a Kitchener jewellery store robbery that happened in December 2010.

Waterloo Regional Police teamed up with York Regional Police to arrest 19-year-old Baseer Ahmed of Richmond Hill.

He’s facing several charges including robbery using a firearm, robbery, wearing a disguise with intent to commit an indictable offence, pointing a firearm, weapons dangerous and mischief under $5,000.

Ahmed along with two other Richmond Hill men have been charged with the robbery at the People’s Jewellers in Fairview Park Mall.
