School board computers stolen

The Waterloo Region District School Board says nine computers were stolen from its’ office in Kitchener last month.

Officials say the computers were used by staff and contained information about individuals.

They say the computers conform to technology industry standards, and highly specialized knowledge would be required to bypass the security to access the info.

The board is now in the process of notifying individuals/families, who’s information may have been stored on the computers.
