Snow expected in the region

Get ready for some wintery weather…
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for most of southern Ontario and snowfall warnings in eastern parts of the province.
Many southern communities including Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge and Guelph will see a mix of rain and wet snow during the day.
Temperatures will start out mild and then drop. When this happens, 570’s Weather Specialist John Wilson says everything starts to freeze causing icy road conditions.
Wilson estimates 5 cm of accumulation by this evening with 2 more cm expected overnight.
