The Black Friday holiday was a good Friday for the BlackBerry Playbook and Research in Motion.
The tablet was flying off store shelves south of the border thanks, in part, to significant discounts.
In fact, “Best Buy” in the States is taking heat from some customers for running out of Playbooks.
The Toronto Star reports some other big U-S retailers simply removed it from their website when they ran out of the product.
Best Buy Canada spokeswoman Shannon Kidd says, while stocks are not depleted here, “…the demand has been much stronger than anyone anticipated…”
