A little over a week after the Stanley Cup paid a visit to Kitchener, the last Maple Leaf netminder to hoist the Cup is in town today.
Johnny Bower is at RIM Park in Waterloo this afternoon.
The 6th Annual “Skate with a Legend – Johnny Bower” takes place this afternoon.
There will be an autograph session with Bower outside the arena starting at 3:30, with a charge of $20 per autograph.
Then there is skating with the legend at 4:30 with donations accepted for Habitat for Humanity Waterloo Region.
While Bower won’t be on the ice, he will be along the boards shaking hands.
Some members of the Kitchener Rangers however will take to the ice.
You can pick up your entrance ticket for the event through Habitat for Humanity in Waterloo or Cambridge.
