Stanley Cup comes to the Aud

Hockey’s top prize will be on display for all to see when the Kitchener Rangers
host Erie tonight.

The Stanley Cup will be set up across from the Ottawa Street box office from 6:30pm until the end of the second period.

The first 500 people will have their photo taken professionally with the Cup for free.

It’s all part of the Scotia Bank Celebration of Hockey.

“You know I think everybody whether they play hockey or cheer from the stands, they know the Stanley Cup is a real cultural symbol.” said Anne Brubacher is Scotiabank’s Kitchener Community Branch Manager.

This will be the Stanley Cup’s second visit to the area in the last five months.

Former Ranger Gregory Campbell brought it to Kitchener in June after the Boston Bruins won the championship.
