401 Fatal

One man is dead after a collision on the EB 401 early this morning.
The collision involving three tractor trailers happened on the 401 eastbound at Hwy 6 South to Guelph Line.
A tractor trailer rear ended a another tractor trailer.
One of the trucks involved in the initial impact then collided with a third tractor trailer where it fully became fully engulfed by fire, but the driver managed to get out.
The male driver of the third tractor trailer involved was trapped inside his vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
A female driver from the initial collision was transported to hospital with minor injuries.
The name of the deceased will not be released until next of kin has been notified.
