Hawks hosting OUA final

The Laurier Golden Hawks host the OUA Women’s Soccer Final Four this weekend.

Laurier’s first game is at noon today at University Stadium versus Ottawa.

The other teams competing are McMaster and Queen’s with the top three heading to the CIS Championship in Montreal next weekend.

Laurier opened the season with ten straight wins before losses to Waterloo and Windsor.

Hawks Midfielder, Alyssa Lagonia scored five goals in the regular season and was recently named MVP in the OUA West.

“Its’ been a very successful year…I’m happy that I could contribute as much as I have.” said Lagonia.

The bronze medal game is set for noon on Sunday and gold will be decided at 3pm.
