Fatal crash north of Ariss

A Burlington man is dead following a crash on Wellington Road 86, north of Ariss this morning.

Wellington County OPP say just before 5:30 a car and transport truck collided just
north of the Eighth Line.

A 45-year-old Burlington man was pronounced dead at Guelph General Hospital.

Police say the truck driver was not hurt.

The road has been re-opened to traffic after being closed for several hours while officers conducted their investigation.
