It’s the “Hubbiversary”.
Communitech’s one year anniversary, that is.
It’s being celebrated tonight (Monday) from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at the Communitech Hub in the Tannery on Charles Street West,
Communitech President and CEO, Iain Klugman told 570 News the success of the 600 plus individual tech companies are being celebrated and more, “we’ve had an incredible interest from around the world, we’ve had 5, 000 visitors from all corners of the globe.”
“We’ve got some tours that are happening from 6:00 until 7:00 and of course we’ve got cake,” said Klugman
Communitech is in the process of expanding to include an additional 12, 000 square feet of space, roughly 2 years ahead of schedule, “we’re seeing an uptake and a level of activity that is actually beyond our initial expectations.”
There will also be speakers from all three levels of government as well as an address from Klugman himself.
