How wet was it this week?
In just a 48 hour period – Wednesday and yesterday – Waterloo Region received over 76 millimetres of rain, or 3 inches.
570 News weather specialist John Wilson says that’s how much we would normally receive during the entire month.
He says the bulk of it came yesterday as we got 51 millimetres or two inches of rain.
Elsewhere, Hamilton received up to 80 millimetres over two days, while it was around 40 millimetres in the Toronto area.
The good news is, other than a few showers today, the forecast for tomorrow calls for sunshine.
