It was a golden day in Kingston for the University of Waterloo’s men’s and women’s golf teams.
Both teams captured gold at the OUA Golf Championships.
For the women, it was the second year in a row they took top spot, while Elmira’s Garrett Rank was the men’s individual champion for the second year running earning the Len Shore trophy.
He shot a 6-over par 142 over two days.
The top golfer on the women’s team was Jane Tang, who fired a two-day total of 17-over par 161.
That was good for a tie for the silver medal with Christine Fraser of the Guelph Gryphons.
