Helping small business and productivity

The Business Development Bank of Canada is celebrating small business week and they have announced a special effort to help entrepreneurs.

President and CEO Jean-Rene Halde says they have set aside $200 million help small business purchase information and communications technology.

He says that lacking productivity in Canada and they believe that to help the productivity issue they are setting up a special loan for Canadian entrepreneurs.

Depending on the size of the loan, entrepreneurs seeking financing for ICT projects can submit loan applications online or at their local BDC business centre.
