The father of the Blue Box program…has died at the age of 84.
Nyly Ludolph passed away in his sleep yesterday…after a short battle with lung cancer.
He helped launch the Blue box program in 1981 with his employer, Laidlaw.
It began as a pilot program in the Kitchener Aud Neighbourhood with 250 homes and has since spread country wide.
