Lining up for the new Apple iPhone 4S

Suffice to say that the appetite for the Apple products remains huge – despite the death of one of the company’s co-founders, Steve Jobs.

Thousands of people across the country have been lining up outside Apple stores since yesterday to be among the first to have the new iPhone 4S and that includes those lined up at the new Apple store in Conestoga Mall.

Many tech experts are quite excited about the new product and some have described it as one of the most amazing products the company has put out yet.

Many of it’s features are available for free to iPhone 3 and iPhone 4 owners simply by downloading the new operating system – however, the 4S includes unique features that are not available in the download including a new voice controlled personal assistant.

A line began to form in Los Gatos, California on the eve of the iPhone 4S release and at the front of that line – Steve Wozniak, Apple co-founder, sitting in a portable armchair, sipping diet Dr. Pepper and scanning emails from his white iPad.

Wozniak, who maintains his status as employee Number 1 in company records, said he planned to stay overnight in order to get the new iPhone first.

He told CNN affiliate KTVU he’s particularly excited about the new iPhone’s voice-controlled assistant which is known as “Siri.”
