Ontario Green leader in Kitchener

Green Party leader Mike Schreiner was the 2nd of the provincial party leaders to visit the area today.
Schreiner made stops in Guelph and Kitchener and was also a guest on 570’s Gary Doyle Show.
He says on the wants list for him is more balanced growth, adding we need to ensure we have residential growth where there is job growth to get people spending less time in their vehicles.
Schreiner announced a Green Building Program today he says would provide $1.6 billion in refundable tax credits to homeowners and businesses that invest in energy efficiency and building retrofits.
