The 26th Annual Kitchener-Conestoga Rotary Club Dream Home Lottery has kicked into high gear.
The grand opening of the home took place late yesterday afternoon.
It’s located in the Lackner Woods area of Kitchener – on Watervale Drive – and has 3,300 square feet of finished space.
Other highlights include solar panels on the roof, an en suite overlooking the Grand River, a steam shower in the basement/home gym and a fully furnished media room.
Over the years, this fundraiser has taken in close to $7-million for various local charities.
The Rotary Club is aiming to raise $265,000 for the Child Witness Centre to expand services and buy a house next to the new court houses in Kitchener.
