Renewed appeal for missing woman

Regional police have issued an appeal for the public’s assistance in finding a Cambridge woman.

48-year old Kathleen Kraehling has been missing for almost two months, having disappeared from her home in Cambridge July 12th.

Police spokesperson Olaf Heinzel says there is cause for concern.

“She does have some mental health issues and requires medication,” Heinzel explains in an interview with 570 News. “She does not, to our knowledge, have any medication with her and we are concerned for her well-being.”

Kraehling is described as white, 5’4″ tall, 160 pounds, with shoulder length blonde hair and blue eyes.

While police do not yet have a concrete lead, they are providing more information they hope will help in their search

“She has been known to frequent Toronto and Sarnia, so there’s a possibility that she may have gone to those areas,” Heinzel tells 570 News.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Waterloo Regional Police South Detective Office at (519) 650-8500 ext. 2262 or 2276.
