Labour Day Picnic

There will be food, live music, rides, games, balloons and face painting today in Waterloo Park.

It’s the Labour Day Picnic, put on the the Waterloo Regional Labour Council (WRLC).

Steve Sachs, of the WRLC tells 570 News it’s a fun, family event, “I wish to invite everyone out to a beautiful day and hope we have a great crowd for the day and raise lots of money for and have lots of fun with our union affiliates”. All donations made will go toward the United Way in Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge.

The picnic runs from noon until about 4:30 or 5:00, and parking is available off Father David Bauer Drive and University Avenue.
