Today’s your chance to get a look at this year’s edition of your Kitchener Rangers.
The Rangers open their preseason this afternoon at two at The Aud with a game against the Brampton Battalion.
Prior to that, the club is hosting its annual Fan Appreciation Barbecue at The Aud.
It kicks off at 11 this morning and runs up until almost game time.
In addition to the barbacue, you can also meet some of the newest Rangers. As for the veterans – some of them will end up in the dunk tank.
There will also be inflatable games, rides and, of course, Rangers mascots Flip, Chuck and Tex will be on hand.
If you can spare any new or gently used youth and adult hockey equipment, bring it to the barbecue.
It will be given to less fortunate young hockey players in the community.
