Police are looking for a suspect after an alleged sex assault in a vacant building on University Avenue East in Waterloo.

A woman was doing renovation work when an unknown man entered the building just after 3:30 yesterday afternoon and sexually assaulted the female.

She managed to break free and the suspect fled the area.

The victim did not require medical treatment.

Police are looking for a Hispanic man between 30 and 35-years-old.

He is 6’1″ with a slender build, dark hair shaved on the sides, wearing a white golf shirt and blue jeans.

Police are asking anyone with any information to contact Waterloo Regional Police or Crimestoppers
