Limerick Road decision put off

Cambridge City Council has again put off a decision on a proposed subdivision off Fountain Street.

The project, which calls for the construction of 700 homes, has been hotly debated by residents on Limerick Road, many concerned about increased traffic and the impact on property values.

The matter has been put over to October, but this morning’s Record reports the developer is not impressed, and is hinting he may take the matter to the Ontario Municipal Board.

Officials with Gramtrust Holdings would not comment on that possibility.
