Kitchener gets the blues starting tonight

The annual TD Kitchener Blues Festival kicks off tonight with a special performance by the legendary Gregg Allman.
Festival President Rob Daimen tells 570 News tonight’s show, at the Victoria Park Clock Tower Stage, costs $35 to attend.
Daimen says it’s a fundraiser to keep the rest of the four day festival, taking place all over the downtown, free.
Other entertainers performing this year include Johnny and Edgar Winter, Jimmie Vaughan and John Mayall, among many others.
