Heat Wave Continues

It’s another scorcher in Ontario and a humidex advisory is in effect.
570’s weather specialist John Wilson says it’s going to be more humid today than yesterday.
The U-V index is expected to be 10 today, therefore sunscreen is a MUST when heading out.
Health officials are also reminding anyone at risk from heat-related illnesses, to be extra cautious when spending time outside. If you have an elderly relative or friend, it would be a good idea to check on them.
As well, keep in mind to drink plenty of water when outdoors and do not leave your pets or children unattended in a vehicle for any period of time.
