Summer holiday’s are here and spending time outside, whether it be at the cottage or in the backyard, reading a book is a popular way to ease stress and relax.
Scott Hunter from the KW Bookstore tells 570’s Gary Doyle some of the fiction you may want to read this summer, includes James Petterson, Sue Grafton, and Kathy Reichs. They are tightly compacted novels, that flow nicely, you can breeze through them or take your time with them.
Non-fiction novels are also a good choice because you can put them down and come back to them.
When it comes to books made into movies, Scott tells 570’s Gary Doyle, the movies are “swell” but the book spreads things out and further investigates the story in a way that the film world just can’t.
