Citizenship Ceremony

It’s a very special Canada Day for scores of local residents.
They’ll be sworn in as new Canadians.
Citizenship and Immigration Canada are partnering with various community organizations to host numerous citizenship ceremonies to mark Canada’s 144th birthday.
Lucia Harrison, Executive Director of the Kitchener Waterloo Multicultural Centre says the ceremony is a moment these new Canadian citizens will remember for the rest of their lives.
The ceremonies will be taking place at THEMUSEUM in Kitchener at 10:30 a.m., Woodside National Historic Site at 2 p.m., as well as Riverside Park in Guelph at 4:45 p.m.
