Fire on River Rd in Kitchener

No injuries are reported after a house fire on River Road East in Kitchener.

It broke out around 9:30 last night and when authorities arrived the house was engulfed in flames.

Damage is estimated at around $100,000.

Police say no one was home at the time and the pets were rescued from the structure.

Police also say the fire is not considered suspicious.
