Car Free Sunday

It’s not only Father’s Day today – it’s also Waterloo’s first ever Car-Free Sunday Festival.

King Street from Erb to Union is closed to cars but open to people.

The day’s events include live music, tai chi and other activities. The festival runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Kitchener will join Waterloo in the next Car-Free Sunday on July 17.

Two more festivals are scheduled in Waterloo for Sundays in August and September.
