RIM Tough Times

The company’s first quarter results were released and stocks fell 20% closing at $27.24 – the lowest RIM has seen in 5 years.

Tech Analyst Carmi Levy told 570 News this is unprecedented for the region and expect RIM to “hit the brakes” with the amount of funds coming into the region.

Levy says for the company to re-capture what it once had, it needs to stop playing catch-up and find that “it” factor that they can do better than the competition.

Levy also says he’s confident there will be able to return to glory but it needs to start swinging for the fences and stop resting on its laurels.
