Grand River Hospital Renovations

A massive reorganization and renovation of out-patient medical and surgical day service at Grand River Hospital’s KW site has been revealed.
Vice President of Mental Health Diagnostic and Redevelopment for the Grand River Hospital, Jenny Rajaballey told 570News how this renovation will simplify the hospital experience for patients, “previously, patients who come for outpatient surgical procedure would have to register at one part of the hospital and then find their way to another part of the hospital. That wasn’t very patient friendly, it didn’t help families. So what this does, after this renovation, it centralizes all of that”.
So what does this really mean for patients? Rajaballey said “the renovation improves patient safety, patient convenience and does upgrades to some of medical and surgical databases as well.”
Rajaballey adds that upgrades to the hospital’s 10 operating rooms will continue into 2012.
