New Schools

The province has announced funding for four new schools in Waterloo Region.

The public board will be putting up a new elementary school in the Grand River South area of Kitchener and another on Huron Road.

The two new Catholic elementary schools will go on Guelph Avenue in Cambridge and the Brigadoon area of Kitchener.

Work on the new schools is slated to start this year.

Additions have also been approved for Our Lady of Fatima in Cambridge,

St. Luke in Waterloo and Silverheights Public School in Cambridge.
