Feds may order end to Air Canada strike

The federal government is serving formal notice it could table legislation within 48 hours ordering striking Air Canada (TSX:AC.B) employees back to work if the two sides don’t reach a deal.

The strike by Air Canada’s customer service agents and other airport workers caused minor delays this morning, but union members predicted travellers will face longer lineups and wait times as the walkout goes on.
