Murder charge in Kitchener death

A 28-year-old Kitchener man has been charged with First Degree Murder following the death of a woman in the city.
Waterloo Regional Police say the woman’s body was found by emergency services personnel early Friday morning inside an Overlea Drive apartment.
Preliminary post mortem results revealed that the woman died of, “injuries consistent with blunt force trauma.”
Police have not released the names of those involved in the incident but todays Record is reporting that the victim was Rejina Kendy and the suspect arrested is Ambrose Kose.
The suspect was also charged with failing to comply with a recognizance and police say they don’t expect to make any further arrests.
