Kitchener tech company gets provincial funding

A Kitchener tech company is getting money for the province to help launch new film-making technology.

The funding will also help create 18 new jobs at cineFLOW.

The company has developed technology that allows film makers to record, edit, and store footage digitally on a server.

It also makes it easier and cheaper to work with the content and reformat it for multiple platforms.

The technology is already being used for a major 3D movie being shot in Toronto.
